As a hairstylist with over 20 years of experience, I’ve always been passionate about creating beauty. One essential tool in our profession is the smock—a must-have in every salon. Yet, I noticed a glaring gap: most smocks are uninspired, unflattering, and lack elegance.

Determined to change this, I set out to design my own line of stylish, functional smocks, giving birth to Culture Connect by Alice.

In March 2020, during an extended stay in Ghana amidst the global lockdown, I faced challenges sourcing the perfect fabrics and manufacturers. But these obstacles only strengthened my vision. Watching someone wear one of my smocks for the first time and seeing the joy it brought was the moment I knew I had created something special.

Our smocks are more than workwear—they’re fashionable, professional, and designed to bring confidence to hairstylists, nail techs, barbers, and estheticians. Made with water-repellent fabrics, delicate lace, and vibrant accents, they’re versatile enough to double as stylish cover-ups.
